Hey guys, Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!!!! Hope you’ve also fallen in love with scrapbooking like I have and that you’re also having fun scrapping on this very special day :D
Anyway, I’m back with a quickie layout for LCOM again – here’s the sketch! Do pop by the LCOM blog to participate and link your sketch with us! :)
This pic is another fave from my Tasmania road trip in Apr 2013. We took a quick trail down the Enchanted walk in the Cradle Mountain area.. and boy, was the view and being so close to nature enchanting indeed! Scrapped this within 30 min with goodies from the Office Suite collection by Fancy Pants Designs! The pastel colours and coordinating designs were seriously mad love!! (Chipboard embellishments from Kiss Kiss collection by Crate Paper & font stickers from Dear Lizzy)
Thanks for looking and hope this inspires you to get scrappin done in a flash x
For sketch #120 for LCOM, (featuring the beautiful sketch by Shirley) I decided to scrap a fave photo from my choir days back in JC! This photo dates back to 2007, freaking 8 years ago… how time really flies! Those Choir days were probably one of the best moments I truly learnt to appreciate music and teamwork so much. :) Missing those times training and singing all day long.
Used lotsa items from Blue fern studios and random choir themed embellishment stickers from K&C! I realised, that destressing the embellies a little actually allowed it to blend better with Blue fern studio’s more vintagey papers! I guess thats why Tea Dye and Vintage Photo distress inks from Ranger Ink is really still one of my go-to products after so many years!
Happy scrapping those happy memories x
Hi Everyone! Here’s a happy layout for LCOM this fortnight!

Thanks for looking x
Hey guys! Its been a while!
This fortnight’s scrap features a quick and simple design courtesy of Page Maps! I got in done in a flash and I’m sure you’d too!
There’s still a week to go for LCOM’s sketch #116! Be sure to link up with LCOM for a chance to win some gift certs.
Here’s my take! Featuring a wefie of us taken bottom up in Prince Edward Island on that memorable blue skied day. I cut it up to recreate the 2 photo effect just for the sketch and threw in some cute cards from my Project Life stash too. The rest of the embellies are from my favourite Crate Paper (as per usual) Hopefully you guys won’t get bored of it! :P I realised the thing about me when it comes to scrapping is I love to use as much of what I have existing before opening new stuffs..
Hope this sketch inspires you to do quick scraps of your fave photos :) till next time x
Hey! For this week’s on Let’s Capture Our Memories, we have a sketch that’s really great for you to scrap with loose scrap papers! (i.e. cut em into strips and scrap em)
Or, you can take out your washi stash and create the similar liney effect like this!
And a close up of the layout – The pool from our villa in Krabi. I think we spent the most time in here (Till we got all waterlogged and wrinkly hahaha). Missing this gang and the fun we had back then! My friend standing at the edge of the pool was trying to catch the ball that was being thrown from the 2nd floor of the house. On the 2nd day of our trip, and 2nd day into our game of pool volley, we lost our beloved plastic inflatable ball. All of us (especially the girls) went bonkers cause we thought the guys hid the ball so that they didn’t have to keep being “ball pickers”. We decided to buy a new ball just so that we could continue our game. Till today, we didn’t know where our inflatable ball went and we’re still judging the guys for probably hiding it. hahaha.
I scrapped about Krabi too on LCOM #104. Coincedentally, this sketch looks quite like that one so now I have a paired layout just for the Krabi trip :)
Materials: Washi tapes / Papers from Blue Fern Studios Ombre Collection & Montage Collection / Chipboard embellies from Crate Paper’s Open Road / Random Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom Paper strips
Thanks for looking! For more ideas on Washi taped layouts, you can also see this here. x
Its Let’s Capture Our Memories time again and this week features a cute lil sketch with many photos involved! So I thought I’d do a holiday scrap for this one just cause there’s always too many photos for me to choose from when it comes to such scraps.
Using my Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom collection again just cause its sooooo Japanese and fits the theme well when I’m about to scrap about Japan. (Technically I went during Fall, not the Cherry Blossom season…. but nevermind..)
So, here goes! Using the tracing paper method once again to tone down the colours a little and bring more attention to the photos in this one. Check out the other cute Japanese embellies peeping through the tracing paper. :)
I had a really fun time in Japan to be honest! And I fell in love with the food, culture and scenery there too. Also cause I had my really cool buncha travel pals with me. Kyoto was really fun cause we had awesome weather and It was really cultural. You can read more about my Japan trip here.
Journalling: Memories from Kyoto, Japan 18-20 Oct 2014. Feat. Kinkakuji, Tenryuji Bridge, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove forest & Fushimi Inari Shrine.
Thanks for lookin x
Here’s a Vday layout just for LCOM! I love how the sketches chosen by LCOM is always easy and quick to do, makes scrapping & memory keeping a real quicky.
Decided to scrap some of the many favourite photos in my Toronto stash. This one’s taken sometime in Dec 2010 in between exams.. on a blue skied wintry day. Thankfully the pier wasn’t cold, and we had a pretty good time exploring and snapping pics! (We went there once prior to this capture and oh my god it was -13 degrees out with wind. Obviously we nearly became icicles.)
These 2 pics are probably my favourite from that day’s captures – serves to remind me how awesome it is travelling with Jason. And how great it was to have him fly all the way from Singapore just to hang out with me for one month in Canada.
Materials used: Cardstock – MME / American Crafts / Oct Afternoon | Gold Doily – CP | Chipboard frames and embellishments – CP | Quote card – MME
Remember to link up your layout for a chance to win some vouchers from LCOM! :) Happy scrapping x
